Do you quietly pause to look for wildlife when you visit the Sculpture Forest? If not, you should. Bird expert Steve Ellis and accomplished photographer Mike Savoia do!

Steve has already directly observed over 25 different species of birds within the Sculpture Forest during his visits. He anticipates seeing a number more as the seasons and migrations change throughout the year. Steve is past president of the Whidbey Audubon Society, so he knows a thing or two about our feathered friends.

And Mike has a keen eye for both nature and art, perfect for a visit to the Sculpture Forest.

Here are bird species seen onsite so far. This will expand over time:

American Crow
American Robin
Bald Eagle
Barred Owl
Bewick’s Wren
Black-capped Chickadee
Brown Creeper
Brown-headed Cowbird
