You can come to a launch party for the first book that the Sculpture Forest has been featured in! Locals Maribeth Crandell (author and Island Transit Mobility Specialist) and Jack Hartt (author and prior head of Deception Pass State Park) have just published an updated and expanded version of their helpful outdoor resource guide “Hiking Close To Home: Whidbey, Fidalgo, and Guemes Islands“.

The duo will be celebrating their book release with signed copies on Saturday November 6 from 2:00-4:00pm at Whidbey Farm and Market. You can enjoy many fun things to do at the public farm and then share stories with the authors from your favorite trails that are likely among the 70 in their new book.

Thank you, Maribeth and Jack!
