Price Sculpture Forest is launching a world first: The very first Augmented Reality exhibition of real-world physical sculptures. For over 1.5 years, the Sculpture Forest has partnered with tech startup XR-ROOM to create a completely new way of experiencing outdoor art. We are blending physical real-world sculpture with interactive technology, augmented reality, and personal devices. The end result creates a new way to appreciate all 360 degrees of 3D sculpture, merging Art and Nature with Appreciation and Education for people of all ages and backgrounds. The exhibition opens Saturday February 25 and continues into the future.

After being selected last year from a nationwide Call for Artists, the initial AR exhibition will feature sculpture by artists William Baran-Mickle of Poulsbo WA, Michael Finch of Afton MN, Stephen Klema of Winsted CT, and Betsy Power of Portland OR, with Mark Yale Harris of Carbondale CO and others also coming in the future.

For you to participate in this new concept, just come to the Sculpture Forest with a modern Apple or Android phone or tablet. Simple instructions and high speed Wi-Fi are provided for you onsite. As always, the experience is being provided free for everyone.

Come and enjoy being a part of something truly new in the art world!
