Whidbey Island and the entire region has experienced foggy days, smoky days (from far away wildfires), and sometimes both together over the past month.  It creates an atmospheric mood in the Sculpture Forest with wispy distant trees or shafts of sunlight cascading from treetops to the forest floor.  Here is part of Jeff Kahn‘s Wind Shear peeking out from behind a majestic old tree, with sun coming through the swirling fog around it.
