Photographer Mike Savoia of Dash Point WA created an intriguing photo essay about the Forest, including both the natural world and the artistic world. In addition to establishing new views of some sculptures that we will share with you another time, he was very observant to look up and around. On a single visit, he encountered multiple creatures, including this bald eagle watching over the Sculpture Forest.

From Mike: “What a total surprise! My wife (not telling me where we were going and to bring my cameras) took me to the Price Sculpture Forest in Coupeville. The 2.5 hour drive was worth it. Combining a well kept hiking trail with incredible art sculptures along the way was awesome. The main reason she brought me was because I’m a lifelong Godzilla fan and when I saw the Tyrannosaurus Rex made from driftwood by Joe Treat on the trail, that blew my mind! Add in the various critters surrounding the forest area and it made the experience even more enjoyable.”

Thank you, Mike!
