Bill Evans (Vice President)

Rick Hoag - Board of Directors of Price Sculpture Forest Foundation

Richard Hoag (Treasurer)

Richard brings a robust academic background that includes a BA in Business (1973), an MBA (1975), and a BS in Accounting (1982). He spent the majority of his 30-year career with The Boeing Company, working primarily in finance management across nearly all local divisions, including the corporate headquarters. Since retiring, Richard enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly fishing and bird hunting with his Labradoodle, whom he recently trained in search and rescue tracking. A lifelong lover of the arts, his passion was sparked as a young man after visiting the Sistine Chapel and the Louvre.

Scott Price - Board of Directors of Price Sculpture Forest Foundation

Scott Price (President)

Scott is the founder of the Sculpture Forest, creating the entire sculpture park and nature preserve from a concept that began growing within him in 2012 centered around preserving the beautiful ecosystem and expanding its possibilities of positivity for all. Although he was previously represented by multiple galleries for his photography, he considers his one sculpture to be the entire park itself. Scott is an avid lover of both the arts and the natural world, with the Sculpture Forest being a manifestation of that to share with the community. He has led creation of all aspects of the Sculpture Forest, ranging from every foot of the trails and infrastructure to every sculpture and all of the public offerings since then, plus all of the behind the scenes responsibilities of running a busy nonprofit organization. His professional life has spanned many team lead, program management, engineering, and marketing roles for real estate investing, both large and startup technology companies, and international standards collaboration in Europe. Scott lives nearby in Coupeville with his wife and daughter. They enjoy many outdoor sports, travel, and a wide range of visual and performance arts.

Maria Wickwire - Board of Directors of Price Sculpture Forest Foundation

Maria Wickwire (Secretary)

Maria is a ceramic and bronze sculptor based in the Skagit Valley whose intuitive figurative work explores themes of human connection, nature, and archetypal experience. A former teacher and published poet, she was featured on the Emmy Award-winning program Oregon Art Beat and has exhibited throughout the Pacific Northwest. Her work has been included in public and private collections, including a public sculpture in Lake Oswego, Oregon that was destroyed by a vandal in 2019, restored, and cast in bronze, emulating kintsugi by highlighting the repairs in gold. This bronze sculpture was acquired by the Price Sculpture Forest in 2024 and is displayed near the park entrance. She is represented by Museo Gallery in Langley, WA.
