Please include our nonprofit 501c3 community park and nature preserve in your year-end giving.  We are entirely open, maintained, and growing with offerings only because of donations from our supporters.  We are completely volunteer led, which means that we have extremely low overhead and your donations go directly to efficiently support the art, nature, and experiences that have brought you to the Sculpture Forest.  We have also achieved the highest level of nonprofit financial transparency possible (Platinum) through the national GuideStar accreditation system.

2024 was a wonderful fourth year being open every day for free for everyone, regardless of ability to pay or contribute.  We were able to expand our offerings for you and your guests throughout.  Highlights included the addition of Maria Wickwire’s entrancing and enigmatic bronze sculpture “Anillos”; Richard H. Alpert’s fun and meaningful “Giant Mic.”; and intriguing and interactive new Augmented Reality sculptures by Mark Harris, J Brian Pfeiffer, Michael Blair Davies, and Chris Plaisted.  Eva Stone’s “WANDER/WONDER: a sculptured dance happening” converged upon the Forest for the third year, enthralling audiences with 10 professional dancers throughout the park.  We created a new short trail extension and installed a beautiful hand carved and painted meditation bench.  We provided completely free, customized programs for the community, including recent groups such as troubled youth, seniors, school classes, Scouts, library, food bank, general public, and more.

We are thankful for our team of dedicated, unpaid volunteers who kept this all going for you all four seasons.  We are also thankful for our local partners such as the Coupeville Festival Association, Whidbey Island Garden Tour, Island County, Embrace Whidbey and Camano Islands, Coupeville/Oak Harbor/Langley Chambers of Commerce, The Whidbey Weekly, Whidbey Writers Group, and Whidbey News-Times.  This past year, we also received positive recognition from The Seattle Times, Travel Lemming, Seattle’s Child magazine, Cascadia Daily News, MSN, WorldAtlas.com, Yahoo, Cascade PBS, and others.

This all is powered and continued by your donations.  Please include us in your year-end giving by donating here.  Thank you, and Happy Holidays to you, your family, and your friends!
