Tara Overton from Seattle visited the Sculpture Forest. While here, Daniella Rubinovitz‘s “Flying Fish” inspired her to ponder the really BIG Picture.
“We visited Mutiny Bay for the weekend for our birthdays. Our friends and your neighbors wanted to tell us about the park because we have two small boys ages 10 and 5 that wanted to get some energy out. It was the perfect situation. Their favorite sculpture was the dinosaur. My favorite was Flying Fish, suspended in the trees. It reminded me of Spring, a Taurus zodiac season synonymous with birth, growth and rejuvenation. This view also reminded me of how small we are in a much larger universe and world, yet to be discovered. Are we ready and brave enough? Let’s go! These thoughts suspended me for a moment in time to look up and capture this feeling.”
