A wonderfully white Whidbey winter wonderland descended upon the Sculpture Forest for its very first snow. The environment became different with the eerie yet soothing quiet of fresh fallen snow in a forest. The sculptures took on new shapes, textures, and accents.

Volunteer and park collaborator Michael Hauser was onsite during the snowstorm to ensure the sculptures were doing fine and check on the parking lot and trails. While there, he took some photos of his walk through the woods, setting the first footprints in the deepening snow. Thank you, Michael!
