As the weather and season changes, Jennifer Kapnek‘s exploration of time and nature becomes even more relevant. Her art allows the viewer to experience the passage of seasons while walking around it to see different painted perspectives.

Photographer Brandon Closson of Oak Harbor captured “All Things Equal” in early spring light amongst the awakening trees around it.

“We had family in from Buffalo New York for my mother-in-law’s 70th birthday. We wanted to take them somewhere cool and easily accessible due to the variety of abilities in our party. We had young children and gramma who is 93 years old. I always enjoy taking pictures of everything at the Sculpture Forest.”
