Hunter Byrnes is an architect, fairly new to the PNW and living in Vancouver, WA. While exploring the Sculpture Forest, he came upon a “forest porthole” in Ivan Neaigus’ “Sunrise/Sunset” stone sculpture.
“My wife and I came up to Whidbey Island for our first anniversary and we absolutely love art and nature. We had been to quite a few sculpture gardens but never a sculpture forest. I absolutely love how the pieces interface themselves into their environment transforming both for the better.”
