Our newest member of the Sculpture Forest community, ceramic artist Jenni Ward from Santa Cruz California, was featured on the front page of the Whidbey News Times for her exciting new large scale site installation “Spore Patterns”. Reporter Karina Andrew wrote a nice overview of how and why “Spore Patterns” came to be in the Sculpture Forest with her article “Mushroom-inspired Piece Grows in Sculpture Forest“.

Jenni’s new sculpture expands far beyond past traditional boundaries of ceramic arts, leaving behind usual small indoors applications. She has boldly jumped forward to large scale, outdoor sculpture with both visual impact and meaning.
