The power of dedicated volunteers over the power of a windstorm. Whidbey Island was just hit by an unusually intense windstorm that made national news. At the Sculpture Forest, several trees went down and the trails plus parking lot were covered with small organic debris everywhere. Within a single long hard day after the windstorm, our team of dedicated volunteers got the entire park re-opened for the public and looking like it did before the storm. We now only need to remove some brush piles and stacked firewood.

Thank you very much to Ken, Michael, Robert, and Lydia. Our entire organization is volunteer run, and these people keep it going behind the scenes for everyone to enjoy.
