Singer Cole Cartee was inspired to give a rousing rendition of his song about freedom in America on the 4th of July, all while standing in front of Soaring Eagle by Greg Neal. Click here to see Cole in action. He is originally from Gastonia, North Carolina and recently moved to Whidbey Island. The tummy at the beginning of the video is his 7 month pregnant wife Amy.

“I was at the Sculpture Forest with my wife (who is pregnant with our first child, by the way) to go and meditate and view the sculptures. We go often. I loved the eagle for the shot of me singing a song I wrote a few years ago on July 4th. We just moved here and love going to the Forest. It’s a wonderful place to untangle your mind!”
