MacRae Wylde‘s fantastical vision of a spaceship and its pilot has landed at Whimsy Way.  “Stevo’s Dream, The Ultimate Flying Machine” is nestled on its landing pad among the trees and vegetation, with several viewing angles along the walking trail from both above and below.

MacRae brought his usual creativity, positive energy, and ingenuity to its onsite construction. After an evening dinner with another sculptor a our home, he got an early start the next day. Siting, assembly, and talking sculpture was fun. He brought in everything with the help of park volunteers. And it was all done with an emphasis on respecting the forest and minimizing impact, which are some of the ongoing core tenets at the Sculpture Forest.
