Julie Barber from Seattle visited the Sculpture Forest. While here, she became more connected with the rest of the broader Pacific Northwest ecosystem. Local wood artist Pat McVay‘s “Icarus Was Here” amplified her sense of connection and opportunity within the forests of our beautiful state.

Julie said “Walking through the forests in the northwest is a priceless act. The magnitude of innovation I feel from just stepping foot under the canopy of pine trees and evergreens here is life changing. I used to think that opportunities were handed to me by fate but, I have since realized I make the opportunities. Go find the opportunities.”
